holey and mismatched socks unit

The plastic bag unit has ended, although it was a lot of fun to work with plastic bags so I will probably do some more plastic bag projects in the future. Until the next unit, I will only be posting once a week on Thursdays.

The sock unit will begin on April 2, 2009


Socks really aren't a top priority on the environmental agenda, but I'm starting to amass quite a few orphans and holey socks so it's a top priority for me :-P

I will be replacing at least some of my old socks with organic natural fiber socks. Committing to buying organic natural fiber socks and underwear is a affordable step towards the "perfect" eco-friendly wardrobe.

Hae Now, which is a clothing company, has a really thorough FAQ on organic cotton. Although it is a little doom and gloom.
